Unfortunately, Spritze is no longer with us, but I thought I would post in this thread because I have been tinkering with this card set for a while now and I think I'm almost finished.

Edit: here is the completed set: 1960 Topps-v2

The 1960 Topps set certainly exposes OOTP limitations with baseball cards, as multiple-colored lettering and colored/black & white player photo combinations are not possible (as far I know). Also, cartoon images on the back are random and therefore won't match up with the featured player.

But here is what I have so far. Comments/suggestions are most welcome. It's still a work in progress, as I still have to figure out what to do for MVP, Cy Young & Gold Glove Award cards. Perhaps I can adapt the 'All-Star Rookie' templates for those.

Seriously, these are amazing. Makes me want to start a season in 1959 just so I can use these as soon as you’re finished!

I agree. I miss the thanks button, also. These are real pretty looking. As for the MVP, Cy Young and GG cards, I'm sure whatever you come up with will be just fine. The waiting is the hardest part.

Here is what I've whipped up for the MVP, Cy Young & Gold Glove awards, which uses the 'All-Star Rookie' templates (which really don't get used otherwise, since there is already a rookie card template).

If I have time this evening, I'll zip up this set and post a link. Otherwise, I will do it tomorrow evening at the latest.

Please keep in mind that this set is geared right now to 1960 specifically. At some point I'd like to make the templates usable for any season. The all-star card with the big '60' in the background is the biggest obstacle, as that can't change automatically. So I'll have to do something different, like perhaps using the words 'ALL STAR' somehow in the background in similar colors.

Beautifully done. I am very happy to see somebody do cards again. Appreciate your effort very much and sharing with everyone. Hope you can do more cards. Thank you. I'm a big fan of the baseball cards in this game.

The set contains all-star, default, defense award, hitter award, pitcher award and rookie award cards as well as a rookie all-star award card. The rookie all-star award card will not be utilized automatically by OOTP. However, it can be generated manually as desired.

Much thanks to fhomess for his previous templates that I followed closely to make these!

I've modified/added a couple of card templates so that this set can be used for seasons other than 1960 if desired. A couple of samples are included below.

I also noticed a small glitch in the all-star card, as it isn't showing the wording for 'second base' in its entirety. That was an easy fix (as shown below) and will be included in an updated set that I will post later this evening.
