Removing white background in this logo
Could someone help me remove the white background of this logo? I have Photoshop and Illustrator so if you posted the steps I'd need to take to do it, that'd work as well. Thanks!

I'm no genius, but with a little work, just use either the Magnetic Crop or Crop tool, and trace the image, then copy and paste, that should only get you the image, not the background.

there may be easier or better ways, but I would create a new transparent raster level then use the background eraser or the magic wand tool to remove the background.

That'd work. But if you want precision, draw a clipping path. Use the path tool to draw a path a pixel or two inside the edge of the object in question. It shouldn't take too long to draw. Save the path when finished. That path can then be used to clip the image so that the area outside the path is not used. Turn the path into a selection, then copy that selection to a new layer.

Thanks Knuckler! How can I resize that at 150x150 for the game without it looking totally disproportionate?

Unfortunately because of the original dimensions, you end up with some empty space on the top and bottom of the logo.

For some logos I use Mac's remove white filter. In this case the filter would remove the white letters but you could use the filter, paint a white layer below and merge both. The filter works for Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.
