cardboard people

has anyone seen crowd animations at all? i have not seen them move but yet i have crowd animations on...they look like cardboard from a distance but realistic when you zoom in, is this normal?

I don't think the new stadiums and audience support animation. I've also tried the settings. That said, it doesn't really bother me that much. There are a few angles, especially when the the camera is behind that crowd and they are facing the wrong way, that could be improved, but pretty low priority as far as I'm concerned.

I thought they looked a lot worse than 21, almost non-existent. looks empty to me.

might have to check if I have animation off.

Matt has posted that the 3d fans that worked in 21 will not work in the new 3d stadiums. They are looking at ways to bring back the 3d crowd but, for now, it will be 2d.

Our new stadiums do not support our older crowd animations at the current time of OOTP 22. We are working to see if we can reintegrate them back in. Our older stadiums that were in OOTP 21 and beyond as well as the custom stadiums you create using our construction kit will use the older crowds natively. We will update you all when we have more info about the 3D crowds.

Maybe I did not have my settings set correctly but even in 21 I did not have any crowd movements

Yes, if you had no movement in 21 then you did not have it enabled. It was an option and it did work though, I never cared for it. Too me it was better to just have the highest detail possible and have them remain in their seats and not obstruct the view during play.
