So many Auction House listings for the same card
Does the fact that there are lots of copies of a card up for auction indicate that those cards, despite having high overall ratings, aren't actually any good during actual PT play? Why would people be selling them off otherwise?
I noticed this happening last year, too, and -- given the correlation between my poor(er) performance and my willingness to grab a multi-duplicated listing -- was wondering if I was missing something here. |

These are all LIVE cards. Live cards are more common; 70% of all cards are live cards. Live cards can change in ratings up or down depending on how they play in real life. So, live cards are like hot potatoes--your gold card could be silver after the next upgrade, or diamond. If you follow real baseball closely this is a way to speculate on PP. Live cards generally don't "play" in upper levels, so should be avoided for actually using them on your main team if you plan to move up.
