Invalid position for player

With limited rosters, I tried putting a player rated at one IF position at another for backup and got the above message. Is this just for the entry pool? I get the feeling with this that training at other positions will not be allowed at all, but I know that isn't the case. Thoughts?

It was discussed in the pre-release content video, training (except for Live Cards) are limited to positions where the player played 10% of their career games at. So Ozzie Smith only played SS in real life, in the game he will only be able to play SS as well.

Yeah, suddenly somebody like Niko Goodrum has actual value, even if it is just as defensive sponge.

I really like this change. It still looks like live cards are weak compared to historical at the same value, but this helps close the gap a ton.
