No Email For Signed Contracts

Whenever I sign someone, I don't receive an email informing me that they signed. This happened with free agents and with international signings.

Also, one other issue not related to the first, normally when I am hiring coaches for the minor leagues, I select the "Current Opportunity" and pick the position I want to attempt to hire. When I select someone to offer the position is still listed as the one I wanted to hire in the minors. This version, it will always show the major league team instead.

Are these major league or minor league contracts?

The ones I noticed were minor league contracts. In previous versions, I would always get emails letting me know they signed.

That was changed a few years back.

didn't know that, thanks. was sure I was getting emails re: minor league signings in 21.

You can absolutely get an email when a contract for any player is signed in OOTP 21. I just checked my 22 and the default setting at the bottom of the mail page is "no news, only personal messages". You need to change that to "news from your entire organization" and make sure "contract news" is checked.

That should fix it.
