I only play historical and mixed teams from different eras, so, I might start with 1909, or perhaps 1929. Of course 1971 looks great, and, any other season from 1871 to 2019. (2020 doesn't count

I always start a save with the Cardinals. Past few years I have had to try to find a way to get out from under the Fowler and Carpenter contracts; at least it will only be Carp this year, plus the addition of Arenado will be fun.
Also been busy coming up with a totally fictional universe, importing cities, logos, etc. to upload once the new version releases. May end up writing something in one of the fictional or dynasty reports to help with immersion. |

I'll probably start with the Mets or Yankees to get a good feel of the game before diving into a full rebuild...at that point I'm thinking the Rockies or Royals. I've done a Pirates and Tigers rebuild in the past few years

During beta, I plan to play around with KBO, and there's a chance I'll stick with it. NC Dinos, then? Probably going to go for a fictional MLB rebuild when it counts, picking an NL team that seems ripe for a teardown.

Braves. Gonna try and pry Andrelton and Kimbrel from whatever teams 22 has them on.

I'm going to do the same thing as 90% of my games: a long-term historical save, starting in 1871 and run all the way to the present (and beyond), mostly simulating seasons. (I'll sometimes jump in for a couple playoff games a year.)
As a Mets fan from Long Island, I usually play as the Dodgers, or the team that eventually becomes the Dodgers. Sometimes I create a separate save where I take over the Mets when the league expands in '62, but honestly, I usually don't bother -- by that time, I'm pretty attached to the team I've managed for 90 seasons. |

I just love all the options available to chose a team.
I'm in late August with my Brewers save. Not a fan of theirs but wanted a mid-market team. I play as GM/manager and play every game , In the year 2026 now. Somehow I am 35 games above .500. Will probably finish this season and play around with 22. I am an Orioles fan living in Buffalo so I have to put up with the hassle of Yank's fans. |

Mets, Blue Jays, Athletics and Reds are usually my go-to teams that I dabble in. Maybe I'll try the Mariners this time around. Rockies seem too challenging.. but they do need a fresh set of eyes in the Front Office so who knows?

Man I'm still undecided but I'm leaning towards the D'Backs. The outfield should be fun to build around and they still have former OOTP God Seth Beer floating around.

As an old FW Cats, DFW Spurs, and Texas Rangers homer, I will be the Rangers again. I have not decided what year I will start.

It's time for me to set my sights on the most star-crossed, saddest-sack *** franchise, and bring them to glory. Might even stream it on Twitch.
In OOTP 22, the (Orix) Buffaloes roam. |

Gonna get the Phillies squared away. Players like Harper, JT, and Hoskins aren't getting any younger and the window for some deep success is going to close sooner than later. Make some good decisions drafting, focus on development, get some decent pieces for CF, SP, and RP as well as make sure I have replacements for Cutch, Segura, and Didi for when they start going downhill/leave.

I've always had to try to dump Carp and Fowler while retaining as little of the contracts as possible, sometimes it was worth it to pair them with a mid-level prospect just to clear up that payroll. |

I'll do one with my Cardinals, but also will do a secondary one possibly with the Marlins. They've got some interesting pieces at the MLB level andd some really nice prospects
