I'm excited and mostly because I still find "new" features or aspects of the game months after launch and I've been playing since OOTP 13.

I have 3 main saves as follows:

Modern day MLB and I play out every At Bat

Fantasy sim, 24 Teams, where I sim 1 week at a time.

Historical observer mode only watching Dizzy Dean's career

I think even minor tweaks will increase my experience.

Sorry, folks for the digression... please forgive.

swoboda,
I saw Lindsey Nelson in your post... one of the all-time great sportscasters... I first heard him on LBS, the Liberty Broadcast System, back in the 50s... they would recreate MLB games... they only lasted a little while... MLB probably shut them down.

When a game would get rained out... they would recreate a great game from the past and make it sound like you went back in time.

I LOVE the reveal video and I think they gave us enough without revealing everything. It left me wanting more. Isn't that what a good product is supposed to do?

Game already looks and plays great...As long as the stats are correct i'm good....It's a simulation game. We were hand over nuts when nothing moved except for a zip of a ball going into the filed not knowing if it was an out or hit without reading gameplay...I missed the franchise mode so much since I got caught up in PT... Going back to what brought me back year after year

Would love to have heard one of those.
Lindsey was my favorite for baseball.
