ULB Heads to 2035 with two openings!
Union League Baseball is a direct competitor to the MLB. The League was started in 1995, and we're entering the offseason for our 40th season of online historical fiction. Come join is in the future!
We have two openings at the moment: The Las Vegas Diamondbacks (47-115, 4th place in the Federal League Western Division) and the New Mexico Suns. (85-77, 3rd Place in the Federal League Central Division) Vegas is in the beginning stages of a rebuild, while New Mexico is looking to compete in one of the most interesting divisions in the League. We sim Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (7 days).162 games season, with 3 divisions/2 wild cards. Playoffs are 3/7/7/9 games. We have coaches, no scouts. We use StatsPlus, and have Live broadcasts of a GOTW on twitch. Draft lottery and compensation. An excellent and full league with an active bunch of owners on Slack. Also the commissioner is technically a cat. A Catmissioner if you will.

Great league, we're looking for a few GMs. We're in the offseason heading into 2037. We use slack, have coaches but no scouts, sim 4 times a week 7 days per sim. Looking for some active GMs. It's a fictional league. Spindel is the commish, I'm just bumping the post.
New Orleans - Looking for a challenge? Probably the toughest rebuild in the league. But when you make the playoffs, you'll have earned it. Boston - A mix of young and old players, but likely the best team in their division and a good shot at the playoffs Las Vegas - I know, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. But this team is just around the corner from being an elite team, and not even Vegas rules will keep that hidden for long. New Mexico - They play in a tough division, but they've got a superstar and some nice pieces. A smart GM will push them over the top. |

Ditto! New Orleans is a great potential team. They have the largest market in the league and above average fan loyalty. Once you get them winning, they are going to become the Dodgers of the ULB. Sadly, their former GM did a bad job, but the potential is there.
Boston's a few pieces away. They gave the Saints a run for their money in the playoffs, but fell just short. Good core group of players, just need to fit a few pieces into the holes in their lineup and rotation. Las Vegas is primed to break out. Great farm system and about 70ish million to spend in FA before you get into the dangerous financial ruin territory. NM is a tough one. Two great teams in your division, not a lot of wiggle room to work with. It's either spend to compete or blow it up time.
