question about league structure and playoffs

I set up a custom fictional league with one division and two 8 team divisions within that league. If I sim the whole season out, there are no playoffs. The season just ends with two division winners. This has got to be a bug, right?

This is post-patch, btw.

You must have 2 leagues to have playoffs, you should have setup 2 leagues with 1 division each with 8 teams.

i was hoping for more flexibility for the playoffs. ive been simming my own league with 6 teams, like the old NHL.

Unfortunately, these sorts of league side options are unchanged from OOTP 3, which is a real shame, given all the other great additions that have been made to the game...

A few more league configuration options and this game would be perfect IMHO...
