Ping: Markus and the crew
In my current save I have expanded to 32 teams.
Will the game be able to handle that and make it all good or will I have start over? I’m sure Markus and the team got that figured out. But, still curious.

That’s what I hoped thanks for the quick response.
I’ve been around OOTP since ‘03...so, I know the usual. But, still wanted that warm and fuzzy feeling lol

Not this year for me! We will fade away on the last day of the season with the ghost of Tom Glavine's late career.

After 22 versions I feel like he would respond better to these if people would learn how to spell his damn name

Wow. Talk about scarred. LOL
Your new owner, and the fact that Spring is just around the corner, should be cause for optimism. Cohen brings plenty of enthusiasm, commitment and $$$ to the table. Of course, the enthusiasm part can turn from a blessing to a curse if he meddles too much in operations. (He definitely seems like the type who will meddle some) But my big concern - were I a Mets fan - is whether or not they've upgraded their medical/training department to at least a 20th century level. Once they've done that, maybe they can begin to grapple with the concept of 'high performance' but lets not get too far ahead of ourselves. |

You all could be Twins fans and not have won a playoff game in 18 games! That would be since game 2 of the 2004 ALDS series because they won game 1.... 18 straight losses!
2004 lost 3 2006 lost 3 2009 lost 3 2010 lost 3 2017 lost 1 (AL Wild card vs Yanks) 2019 lost 3 2020 lost 2 even after hitting over 300 HR's in 2019... still could not get a win in post season! |

Unless, of course, he tweaks something that should be day to day and the Mets' medical staff nurses it into a CEI. Speaking of which, I see Carrasco is going to shut down until next week. Yah, maybe it's a good idea holding off on buying those rose colored glasses. Last edited by Dave Stieb II; 03-10-2021 at 08:44 PM. |

0. The Twins are pretty good now, obviously, and even if some of them are nearing the 'long in the tooth' days their farm system is well stocked, too. I think their window is going to remain open for quite awhile so, one of these days...... |

And now the Mets are already on to their second GM of the Steve Cohen era and the first season hasn't even started yet. Doesn't matter who the owner is...the Mets gonna Mets
