Pre-Game Strategy Screen

Can somebody tell me what's considered the "pre-game" strategy screen?

The Lines screen that appears immediately after you click on Play Game from either the schedule screen or continue button.

That's what I figured. It says that I can "manually override the chosen (goalie) starter" on that page. Please explain how? No matter what I do, I get whatever goalie the AI wants, not the one that I want. Sorry for having two threads going on the same subject but this has been frustrating. I clicked and unclicked every possible thing I can and nothing seems to work?

Go to the "Special" tab where the goalies are listed, click on the checkbox beside the goalie's name on the dressed list, then on the name of the goalie in the #1 spot on the right, or click-and-drag the #2 to #1.
