Coming to America [MLB Goes Finnish]

For sixteen seasons, I ran an online league based in Finland. We had a whole universe of memorable players that appealed to me mightily and to the other GMs. However, all good things come to an end and my summer project -- the online league -- needed to end. I still am invested in these players though, so decided to keep the league together but move the teams to America in an expanded league universe.

You can see the league universe for another month, because our statsplus is active and I continue to sim seasons.

However, I have several iterations of the league active. There's the Finnish version above where the league mostly stats intact and operates normally. I have a separate American file where teams moved to the United States. The last idea I had was to populate a modern MLB environment with players from my fictional league.

This story will focus on that idea, where the year is 2021 and MLB's main player base are global players -- but mostly Finns -- and I'll introduce some of the legacy players of my online universe with some callbacks to their performance in the online league and what makes them legends worth noting.
