New online league - Have a few questions...

I have ran ootp baseball leagues for years, but....

Setting up a new hockey league, we are setting it up with 6 humans and 6 cpu teams.

How, in the world, do you do the initial draft?
Do guys just have to set lists or is there a way to do it "live"?
Is there a way to go in as the commish and make picks for each team?


Also, I am used to OOTP Baseball where there is an "Act As" function.
If I am running sims in hockey and someone has an issue and didn't set something, like has an empty position, how do I Act as that team and fix the issue?


And did I read somewhere that there is no place to export the latest league file within the game?
So I have to FTP (FileZilla) the file to my server?

Luckily, in another thread, someone answered me about the initial draft.
He also informed me that you just have to select the manager to Act As them, which is a pain compared to an Act As menu, but it works.

And he informed me that it is true that you cannot upload the league file within the game.
I know this is still a somewhat early version of FHM, but I am baffled that they do not have some of these features since OOTP Baseball has had them for a while now.
You know from that software what features people use. I have to imagine most of those commissioner type of features people would use here too.

And thanks to the guy in the other thread for replying.

I don't think guys realize, the more people that help each other, the more that will want to play the game, the more leagues we will have, the more people that buy the product, so the more money OOTP has to keep developing the game.

i run an FHM 6 league (32 player, no AI). and this has been a major complaint of mine since we started. the fact that being a commish is alot of work, and FHM makes it harder when you start figuring out all the things a commish has to do for every player (edit staff onto team, process trades, process draft picks, edit lineups when injuries happen mid sim....) and on top of that...there is no way to upload / download the sim file automatically, you have to zip up your game file share it (google drive or something) then everyone has to download it and replace their game with it.....its a chore.

that being said, FHM is still miles ahead of any other Hockey sim...so take the good with the bad.
