Clueless about MySQL Database

EDIT: I guess I figured it out. I mean, I still don't understand all this, but I uploaded league reports from the commissioner screen, and I've got everything I need on the web. That's all that really matters.

I have been playing the game for years and simply sending a league file back and forth to one other person. I would finally like to make a league website so we can access league info away from our computers. I imagine this is where the "Create PHP server script files" screen comes into play. Unfortunately I have no idea how to fill out a couple of the fields in that screen because I understand very little of it to begin with.

* Name of the MySQL database: am I simply making up my database name, or does something already exist in connection with either my server or OOTP?

* Name of the database user: same question as above.

My "report upload options" in the Online League FTP Options screen has always been set to "Upload reports to MySQL database" for sending the league file. So, I've been using MySQL for years; I just don't know what it is and where to find it.
