Competition...Whats it mean ?
Hi there,
Could someone please tell me what competition means on the 1st years players draft card (bottom left hand corner of the players card ) I`m guessing its a indication of how good/poor/fair/average his stats were against his peers in High School or College. But I could be wrong. Thanks . |

I believe it's an evaluation of the level of competition he was playing against as he was being scouted. It might have a bearing on how accurate the scouting ratings are. The stiffer the competition he faced, the more accurate the scouting evaluation should be. For example, If he was playing in a poorer high school league, there is more chance that his potential could be overstated.
