Agree... it would be nice to know something about OOTP22.

New features?
Better animation?

Will the new company provide addition programmers and animators?

Or will the regular OOTP Development Team be the only ones working on OOTP22?

Will the new company offer any skills to improve the current game?
Will they just perfect Perfect Team?
Will they perfect and improve OOTP21, too?

Are the Negro Leagues going to be elevated to ML status?

Not sure how accurate this source is but I did find this. https://www.11alive.com/article/spor...ican%20League.

According to the article "Major League Baseball is only integrating stats and records from the Negro Leagues that operated from 1920-1948."

Thanks! That would explain why Aaron's total stayed the same. wouldnt it be wild if they added 8 more HR (I believe thats how many he hit with Indianapolis) to Aaron's total? That would've put him back over Bonds

do anyone think they still put time into improving the "core" game? when was the last improvement that seemed well thought out and implemented?

Future draft pools in version 21 was a game changer for me

There was a good amount of updates from 21-22 on the core game and drafting/scouting in particular.

But it seems like it's an every other year thing when it comes to larger upgrades vs small tweaks.

But this year it seems like all they care about is ootp go so I'm not expecting much to the core game

I feel quite certain that I will enjoy 22 as much as 21.
21 was my first purchase in this series and I love it.
These forums are amazing. Really appreciate how the veterans of this game have assisted me on my many questions.
Thank you all.

If true then the new ownership have made their intentions clear for the future of the game. Glad I bought 21 on Steam now

I just think or hope they are just delaying the news to announce something big like Nippon League license or something.

I haven't gotten that impression at all. What makes you think that?

I am pretty sure they meant Perfect Team (OOTP Go being a platform for that).

you mean 20-21? there is this prospect pipeline thing which is nice, I admit, but it's something that should be like the 10th best new improvement. scouting is sloppily implemented and not something good.

all they've cared about is perfect team for several years now, why the core game is full of sloppy and rushed features that are still the same as when they were implemented (owners, coaching, storylines, markets, financials, etc)

I don't use draft so not something I'd notice but this is a tiny feature overall

It might be tiny for you, since as you say you don't use the draft. Its a huge addition for me since I do heavily use the draft
