OOTP on a Macbook M1 Processor?

Hello, do you guys know if this game is compatible with the new Apple M1 processors? From what I understand it is an ARM-based processor and some apps do not function as it normally does on this type of processor. I just wanted to double check before I invested in a new laptop. Thanks.

I'm playing it through Steam on a M1 MacBook Air 512/16.
