Bobby Prescott of the KC A's passed away

https://www.prensa.com/deportes/bobb...T8KsMQeXRGEsk4

TRANSLATION OF ARTICLE
Bobby Prescott, Panamanian major leagues, dies at 89 years of age

George Bobby Bertrand Prescott, a Panamanian baseball player who played in Major League Baseball, died this morning, at 89 years old, sources close to the remembered player reported.

Nicknamed the man of the golden dolls for his long home runs, Bobby Prescott represented Panama in numerous international tournaments.

Prescott was honored by the Panamanian Baseball Federation in 2015 when the 72nd edition of the National Major Baseball Championship was dedicated to him.
A native of the province of Colón, he managed to make the leap to the Major Leagues in 1961, when he was called to play at age 30 with the then Kansas City Athletics.

In that season in the American League, he played 10 games and hit one hit.

Signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1962, Prescott is also remembered for winning the triple batting crown in 1950 in national baseball.

His explosive hitting also took him to professional baseball in Mexico where he played for the Guadalajara team.
"With great regret we have received the unfortunate news of the death of George" Bobby "Prescott, a great of Panamanian baseball," Little League manager Plinio Castillo wrote on his social media account.

“Extraordinary athlete and incomparable instructor. May God take you into your bosom. Peace to your soul, ”added the leader on his Twitter account @RUIZPLINIO.

Who Am I?

The image is from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 2003 spring training camp and came from a group of several thousand slides, virtually all of which have had accurate player IDs. This one has me stumped, though...

The slide mounting is machine-dated and bears the hand-written name of "Smith." Jason Smith played for the '03 Rays, but it's not him. Bobby Smith played for the '02 Rays, but it's not him either. Nor can I find any mention of a Tampa minor leaguer or coach named Smith in '02 or '03.

Does anyone recognize this guy?

I recently discovered the IDs of these doing my own research.

the players and their level then for ST (1991-1992)
1.Andy Beasley A+
2.Gerald Perry MLB
3.Marc Ronan AA

I found the IDs by going through old minor league cardinal card sets.
