Could Someone Explain To Me This Draft Weirdness? (Dev Team)
(Wasn't sure where to put this, GD or Bug forum. It doesn't seem to be a bug, just weirdness)
So I noticed in 21 vs any other version that you can now access 3 years worth of draft classes. I am in 2035 now. Every year I add clones to my draft classes for the leagues i am not the GM in. I have 4 leagues EBL - my league, MLB, UBL & IBL. I added clones to the MLB, UBL, & IBL. Normally when I add players, worse case is they are drafted and go unsigned and they re-enter the next years draft. I had that happen with Jim Wynn last year into this year for the IBL draft. This season I had all of the MLB Draftees go undrafted. No one touched them yet they all showed up in the 2035 MLB draft. Edited versions of Leon Day, Demoss, Cool Papa Bell, Chet Brewer & Trouppe. all were 1.5 star draftees according to my scout. I scouted each leading up to the draft For the UBL at least 4 players went undrafted. Dick Allen, Denis Menke, Whitey Ford, Lou Brock. I forgot which league I put Sprtize & Skunkle into but both went undrafted. Rube Foster is the only IBL player that I know went undrafted - edited 5 star potential. Now this throws off all of my future drafts for each of those leagues. Especially if there is more weirdness before 2038 when hopefully all 4 leagues draft from the same pool. Had they been drafted and went unsigned, I would not be as mad as that has happened several times in the past and that is something that makes more sense but to have players in a draft class go undrafted when they are superstars baffles me. So if anyone has knowledge on this can respond or help me troubleshoot this. I am leaning towards manual placement of the undrafted players. Does not include Spritze, who is a clone of Ross Barnes nor Skunkle as i forgot who i cloned him as. I thought Preacher Roe but not sure.
