Looks cool.

I do not tend to play mobile games, but I am glad there will soon be another way for my fellow OOTP community members to enjoy the game; and I have seen a lot of folks ask about it on the forums.

I know OOTPD added added personnel for Perfect Team, and I was wondering if there were additional folks added to the team for OOTP GO!, or if the new ownership has stepped-up and added resources.

Amazing. I've been hoping for a couple years now for an OOTP Go! app, thank you so much Markus!

No, these are default Android phone screenshots from a 1920 * 1080 resolution. Tablet shows more info

You can adjust the font sizes, by the way, in case your phone is on the small side.

For now our staff has not changed, but we will start hiring more staff soon and will post on the forums about it The Com2us team helps us with testing and localization at the moment.

I am really excited by this as my laptop takes forever to warm up so being able to just pick up my phone or iPad and play will be amazing.

I see you advised that you can’t continue your game between desktop and mobile. Will you be able to continue between my iPhone and iPad or would it be separate saves on each device?

Quick question about historical, if I start in, let's say, 1991, do I have to purchase every year after that to get the historical rookies and continue the franchise going, or is it meant to be a one season replay unless I purchase the 1992 database, so on and so forth ?

OOPT Go Free to Play?

Markus, just curious why you decided to offer the game for free on the mobile platform. I've been playing OOTP for many years now, and I'm somewhat concerned that since the Mobile platform is free, that many desktop players might stop upgrading their desktop versions and migrate to the free to play mobile platform. I play PT daily, as well as franchise mode (although less often). Any benefits for the people that continue to purchase the desktop versions each year? PT has been a game changer for OOTP and the desktop game is just outstanding, so I'm keenly interested in seeing ongoing development is funded with funds not being lost to 1000's of new people that download OOTP go mobile for free and never contribute to the development costs. Thanks for OOTP and the hours of entertainment it has provided.

If you could do that and allow online leagues to work THAT would be a great benefit to many of your users. To be able to update and export our online leagues without needing a laptop!

They are charging for the 2021 players and for historical players. So unless you play solely fictional then there is a cost, which is entirely fair.

Will we be able to make multiple leagues/tournaments within the same world or is that too much for the app?

Will Go purge old PT files automatically or do I have to do it manually like on PC. It doesn't take more than a couple of days for PT save files to accrue to over 1GB on my hard drive. Phone storage is in shorter supply and it can get away from users quickly if they aren't aware.

There are also some features from the desktop that will not be supported on phones and tablets. So while many features from the base games will be there, you will still need the desktop version to get the full game experience.

I would love to get online league support down the road sometime, but it won't be there in the initial version.

Bump. I would also like to know the answer.

That is really good to hear. Great to see OOTPD growing and expanding.

Look forward to hearing more soon.

Thanks for the update Markus.

In order to get real rookies for a year you need to have purchased that year. If you do not, you will get fictional rookies.

By making it free, we gain a whole new set of customers who could be interested in upgrading to the desktop version, which still has many more features than Go has. Plus, we get the game to many more potential PT players that way, obviously.

Premium gaming apps on the app stores are basically non-existing nowadays, they can only exist if they already had a huge following prior to the industry shifting towards FTP, like Football Manager from Sega.

Yes, we'll implement auto-purging
