Cap Hit Decrease in 2022

Hey, just finished my second season in the standard game, and am on July 1st, 2022, and I noticed that every single one of my players had their cap-hit decrease by ~10%, and I'm assuming this is a league-wide phenomenon. I'm not sure if it happened before or after, but I did manually edit the NHL Salary Cap to be $84.5M up from $81.5M, so maybe that set it off?

It should only have done that if you lowered the cap, I'll check it. I'm wondering if the 10% cushion during the offseason may have broken something, like causing the new cap amount to be compared to the base + 10%.

Edit: doesn't seem to have lowered any cap hits for me, could you upload that save? I'd like to see why it worked differently in your game.
