I use a 7 man pen, and do not be afraid to use starters as relievers. A lot of the best Pen guys in the game are converted starters. The stamina helps and they get a boost to their stuff rating when switching them from a SP to a RP.

I use an eight-man pen, personally. You're far more likely to have your pitchers getting tired than to be constantly getting to the end of your bench in DH-ball.

Everyone is different on that, as you see. He runs a seven-man pen, I run an eight. It all is going to depend on how you're setting your team strategy up.

I definitely agree, as you upgrade your rotation, you should definitely feel just fine adding those excellent starters to your bullpen.
