Well, you can find their name on their team, and see if you can contact them using it either here, or on the Discord. (I have my names listed in game, as do many others.)

Sometimes a user would list their user name in the manager box. That way you can PM them on the current boards or discord. It would be nice to have chatter within a league.

Agreed. Maybe a live-chat isn't doable for each league, but there should be some kind of PM function within the game itself. I shouldn't have to make another account in order to communicate with other players. I already registered an account to merely play PT. How many accounts do I need to register in order to get the most out of this game? These boards? Twitch? Reddit? Discord?

Imagine how nice it would be if I could PM someone in the game and say "Hey, I would pay 50k for your _____ card if you posted it in the AH!"

I am sure one of the reasons there are no PMs is because the 10% of people who are idiots and can't help themselves but to trash talk.

Yeah, I wish we could have a league chat, but they would have to deal with the idiots.

I communicate with the other teams by changing my team name.

Once there was a team called I HATE CARL. So I renamed mine to I LOVE CARL. We were in the same divisions.

That team still has Carl in the team name. They are not I CHOKE IN PLAYOFFS CARL.

I agree about the PM's, but as others have pointed out, it would have to come with the ability to block other users.

And while being on the Discord is certainly nice, you definitely don't need a Twitch and a Reddit to get the most out of this game, or even the Discord itself. It is nice if you have a pressing concern on the game you need answered, but I guess I'm just an old hand and can't think of anything I'd have to hop on there to ask. As far as Twitch, I'm a Twitch affiliate and I won't even say you need it to get the most out of the game, though I've heard they give away some packs on stream.

I've not seen the OOTP community on Reddit, other than the few times I've searched for info on Google on the game and a Reddit post popped up down the list as a potential match. It honestly wouldn't really occur to me to go to Reddit for this game, as there's so many people on these forums alone who have been around this game for ages and know pretty much every way to pull this game apart and put it back together again.

I'd almost rather the communication for Perfect Team stay on the forums, which already has all the safeguards for protecting people from nonsense or abusive messaging. That's just me, though.
