League not trading at all

Hi, I got OOTP earlier this month and decided to start up a fictional league. I didn't really notice anything strange about it until I checked the transactions and noticed that there were zero transactions, period. I was just focusing on minor leagues and prospects so I didn't even notice that nobody was offering me any trades.

Is there any reason for this? And how can I stop this?

We would need a bit more info about your league. How far in are you ? Also, when you created the league, did you change the trade settings or left them at default ?
You can always go and change trade frequency if needed, but I would probably wait before pulling the trigger on that - it has been my personal experience that fictional leagues with default trading on follows the MLB pretty good in activity, meaning that I usually don't see a lot of movement in the first few months of the season.

What I would do, is create a duplicate of your save file so you don't disrupt your ongoing league, then use the duplicate to sim past the trade deadline. You should see trades and offers pick up quite a bit come July.

I'm a full year in, and the preseason just started. I'll try to find the trading frequency incase I messed something up and turned it off, though.

are you certain you have trading enabled? i am not at my game computer, so not certain which screen it's on, but i recall it's near the top of whichever screen it was on (i know, that don't help much). Anyway, i made that mistake once, so i realize it's a possibility.

I have the same problem.In AI settings, trading difficulty is set to average and trading preference to neutral. In Game settings, I've set all computer teams to allow AI roster changes. But NO ONE is making trades.
