Missing Draft Pool

I am trying to start a historical league in 1920, with the draft full of random players from all eras. After many attempts with certain settings on/off, I am unable to fill the draft pool. I get to the pool announcement date and nothing happens, I get to the draft and there is nobody to draft. Is there a fix to this issue?

Are you creating 1920 using the historical wizard? If so, once you league is created, go to the rules section and make sure you have the desired number of rounds selected and the desired number of players created.

I tried using the historical wizard and the custom game option. Neither have yielded positive results. I just tried the fix you recommended and this did not work either. One thing I forgot to mention is that this is for the amateur draft, not the inaugural draft.

Going to walk through some stuff that may or may not seem obvious, so no insult intended. Just walking through the whole process of making a 1920 Historical League with a draft of random players and highlighting where things could go wrong.

Will take a couple posts. First is ensure you are using what I have circled in this post when you make your historical league. There are other ways so it would be useful to know if you used a different method.

In you settings, go to the Historical Tab and check the setting circled below. It should point to where your game is installed. This should not be an issue unless you got the league file from someone else such as an Online League that was converted to a solo league or sometimes a quick start if the file had an issue. Check it, verify it points to your file.

In the previous screenshot you will see that "Use Random rookies from all eras" was unchecked. This needs to be checked per the screenshot below, If it is unchecked you should have gotten the rookies class per 1920 so does not sound like it is the issue... though if "Automatically import historical rookies" became unchecked for some reason you would not see a draft class.

Those are all the typical settings that would cause no draft pool. Good luck!

I'm curious if you ever got this resolved. I faced a similar situation with an empty draft pool. I had originally set the amateur draft up for 60 rounds (to facilitate the addition of another level of minors. I reduced this to 30 rounds, reset the date of the draft by a few days, and tweaked the draft pool reveal date and finally got a draft pool to be revealed, but the pool is all fictional players, no historical players

I've not been able to generate an annual amateur draft pool of historical players thus far, and it's got me baffled.
