WHL over-age bug
In the WHL each team can sign a maximum of 3 over-age (OA) players
each season (players in career year/age 20). There is a bug where a team has the maximum of 3 OA players, and any of those OA players are invited for a tryout with an NHL team in pre-season. The game does not take into account that the OA players have temporarily left the team, and fails to adjust the OA player limit accordingly. When the OA players return to their WHL team, they are automatically sent to Junior B and remain there for rest of the season as the game thinks the teams OA player limit of 3 has been reached. In commissioner mode this can be 'fixed' by simply editing the players back on to their WHL team. |

Odd, it should be counting the number of overage contracts, which shouldn't change due to the tryout. It's actually adding additional overagers while the tryout players are away?

No, they have not signed another OA player in the interim.
It has happened with the team I'm managing also, although interestingly the menu in the player profile screen allows you to move players on a tryout back to your WHL roster, and terminate the tryout. I usually do this as I don't see any upside to my players going to the NHL. In those cases it seems to work correctly, it's only happening when you leave the AI to move the player back automatically at the end of the tryout. Also I can move OA players to and from Junior B normally without issue during the season, it seems to only be specific to moving at the end of the tryout. |

Ah, I think I know what's probably going wrong there, we'll get that fixed.
