Brand NEW LEAGUE!!! Believe Me Its Not A Waste of Time!

Looking for a active league? Looking for a owner that cares about his general managers and about his league? Looking for a Sim that has good gms and trades a lot. Well you found it!!!! Championship Baseball League is a great sim. With Updated Team Rosters. You dont have to have ootp5 to be in this league. All you need to be is a active gm who cares about his team and knows good baseball. Believe me, CBL is no joke. We are a serious league. So we are only looking for serious GM's. E-mail me at ooballa316oo@aol.com or instant message me on AIM At OoBaLLa316oO and tell me what team you want. I will also give you the website.

Thanks
And Join NOW!!!!!!!!!!
SIM WILL START TONITE!

What in the...

Wait a second. You asked someone to help you run a league earlier today...and now you're starting a league tonight?

Did you use Stacy Bond's Quick Baseball League kit?

This league is poorly organized. He doesn't even have a website set up yet, and is telling people it will start tonight. He was puzzled when I asked about a league file. It might even be a scam but don't hold me to it.

The sim will start "tonite" even though you do not have an owner base, a web site, or a posted league file?

"Believe me, CBL is no joke. We are a serious league. So we are only looking for serious GM's"

Uh, ok...

Yet another example of why new leagues are NOT needed. People always get defensive when I say this but here is yet more proof that I am correct.

No, this is proof that you should organize your league before you start it.

It's a pretty bad sign when someone has to reassure people in their post that their league is "not a waste of time." It's kind of like spam that says "not a ripoff" -- if you have to say it....

Thousands of new businesses failed last year. This is further proof that no one should ever start a business.

Delgadodawg is right -- all this thread proves is that (1)people should have a clue what they're doing before starting a league; and (2) people should make sure the commissioner has a clue before joining a league.

When he said that the Sim starts tonight he meant that the league would open up. He isn't actually simming tonight.

This guy's pitch sounds like it came from those infomercials about how to buy real estate.
