Not sure if there is an interest from the community in a mobile version. I remember that I played the mobile version around 2012 (or earlier) and it wasn't really something that was interesting, at least not to me.

This IP recently got bought out by a Korean company that makes phone games, so I would say sooner rather than later.

Considering how often there are questions about the mobile game, I'd say there's plenty of interest. And, as mytreds said, OOTP was purchased by a company that specializes in mobile games, so it's a pretty safe bet there will be one eventually.
