Historical International Tournament Question.

Are the Schedules in Historical International Tournaments Supposed to be the as played schedules,or is FHM 7 Doing it's own thing by design on this? Booted up the 1980 Olympic Tournament and FHM 7 gave me different opening games than what Wikipedia has for the tournament. FHM 7 has the USA Faceing Czechoslovakia on February 12,1980,instead of Sweden,and Czechoslovakia had Norway as their opening opponent in the actual tournament. Is this a known issue?

No, they'll have the correct format for the tournament (round-robin, playoffs, etc.) but not necessarily exactly the same schedule.

Ok thanks,wanted to make sure this wasnt a up and coming correction before I started a replay of the tournament.


So the format the medal round was conducted in though is in the game?

Round-robin with points from one first-round game carried over, yes.

Awseome,yeah not too many games out there are able to allow for that kind of format setup. So will be looking forward to this replay,doubt the USA can pull it off again though....
