RonCo Hall Of Famer Join Date: Aug 2003 Posts: 10,508	I think the best way to think of pitch-by-pitch play is that the game lets you futz around with various decisions and run the count to whatever random count is going to happen, then, when it finally has to, it will resolve the plate appearance as if it's no different than any other. So, you can influence things a little, but not much.
