Need some help

One of my "tasks" set out by the owner is to sign a hometown player. How do I find hometown players? I searched around but couldn't figure it out. Thanks for the help.

Someone else will have to tell you exactly what counts as a hometown player

One way is to go to League Transactions > Find a Player. There should be a check box to filter for "From ????? area". Check that. Hit search. And you should get back a list of players that would satisfy the criteria.

You can also in the, say, Free Agent screen, customize the view to include "city of birth". Then, in the filter you can select "city of birth: equal to: ?????".

Here is a graphical representation of how to find them. Go to the free agents menu. And select the filter option and customize your search.

Use the drop down menu to select your criteria

Select city from the criteria. I usually look for cities about 60 miles within my organization.

Wow!! I'm blown away by the utter depth in this game. Got to be the most thorough simulation out there surely!!
