American Circuits—Fictional teams/players, historical setting

This is a fictional league with fictional teams and fictional players currently set in the early 1950’s. We’re getting near the end of our sixth season with human managers (we simmed 70 years of “pre-history”). Next season—which will start in about a month—will be our first season in OOTP 21. EDIT: About to start our third season in OOTP 21.

One team, Detroit, needs a GM. Ironically, they currently have the best record in the 20-team league. So if you don’t mind winning a lot right away, this is the team for you. EDIT: St. Louis is the vacant team now.

To join right away you will need to have OOTP XX. EDIT: Make that OOTP 21.

We’re on the eve of the start of Spring Training in our first season in OOTP 21, and we have a vacancy—the New York Empires.

This team has a mix of young up-and-comers and some older guys who are still good. A smart GM would probably be looking to trade the older players while they have some value. So, it’s a team that needs some work—but it’s far from needing a complete rebuild.

If I get a bite right away I’ll hold off on starting Spring Training until I can get the new GM set up. Otherwise I’ll run the team as an A.I. team until we find someone.

I'd be interested in getting back into some online play. Just got back into OOTP. Really enjoyed the online leagues a while back.
