Trades After Deadline
OK, so basically I'm the commish of an online league where I goofed, signed free agents for teams before importing rosters, and those FAs were then dumped. So now they won't resign with their intended teams and since it's past the trading deadline, I can't sign them to other teams and then trade.
Editing free agents from the LeagueSetUp menu doesn't help me, as someone had previously suggested. Anyone have any suggestions? SOmeone had mentioned roster.exe, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to use that utility. I mean, does it do anything besides allow roster sized > 25? So if anyone could suggest a work around where I could get Free Agent 1 on Team X and Free Agent 2 on Team Y, I'd appreciate it! Gracias. |

Turn off finances, sign the players to the correct teams. Turn on finances, edit contracts of said players to what they should be.

Does turning off finances have an effect on team's cash totals or existing contracts? In other words, if I turn them on then off and then on again, will all players have the exact same contracts as before (other than those that I edited while in non-financial mode)?
Thanks for the suggestion. I was worried I'd be screwed. |

Turning finances off and back on will not hurt anything.
