Same fatigue issue that was in FHM 6
I remember playing FHM 6 and I was losing games continually and I had no idea why until I looked deeper into things and saw that for some of my games anywhere from 6 to 10 players were tired and that was what was causing the problems. I brought this up on the forums for last years game and people just said we needed to swap players in and out of the lineups and stuff but in the NHL we see many of the players playing the majority of the games so they are able to play back to back and their fitness shouldn't be too effected.
For this years game I am in the preseason right now and I am having some problems once again. I check my player fitness and after 5 preseason games I have 8 players that are under 80% fitness. (56,61, 33, 41,56,77,44, 67 are the players fitness %). I checked a few cpu teams to see what their player fitness was. The oilers, who I was having back to back games with had 2 players under 80% fitness (73,77). Seems like some of the cpu teams are having fitness problems but some are not. What do you guys do with your fitness?? Do you take players out under a certain % fitness?? On back to back games what should players fitness be?? Is this working as intended or is the player fitness too low right now and needs to be adjusted. Any help would be appreciated If Mcdavid for instance is 100% coming into a game and then is playing a back to back what do you think a realistic % should be for his fitness in the second game? Seems like it is getting better since the season started. Maybe it was due to the fact the preseason had back to back games then 1 day off then back to back games over and over. I have a couple players with 11 stamina to and that doesn't help

Get a good physical trainer and that should work itself out. I did occasionally have a non goalie get tired, just take him off penalty kill or move him to a different less played line for a game or two. Players coming back from injury are particularly bad for this, just throw them on the 4th line and depending on their skill, maybe 2nd unit powerplay or 3rd penalty kill.

tactics
High tempo and high attacking/backchecking may also be factors.
