Quick question. Will the 2D match screen be scalable? ie have the rink fit to the screen instead of moving around with the action?

Looking forward to reading more about the Online Leagues.
The concerns I'm hoping were addressed are:
- Import/Export corrections
- AI handling injuries properly.
In our current league, if an injury occurs, the sim stops and the commish has to manually edit lines.
If you choose to let the AI handle it, it means the strategies set by the GM's is lost.
- Ability to save your lines and strategies so if the above occurs the GM's can simply load them.
- HTML exports

Looking forward to the new version. 2D is looking like big improvement. Is there going to be a Commissioner mode like in OOTP which will alow us to take over a team or force trades?

There already is a commissioner mode in FHM6. Go to Manager>options. Click the box.

Watching this trailer I got a question on the 2D viewing.
The player with the puck having his number covered by the puck so not possible of knowing who he might be. That's a bit crazy.

Minor detail that might be corrected with the players name seen over the the moving little "dot". Then no problem if the puck is covering the players number.

As we talked about on the stream, this isn't the first iteration of the players. And it's something still being worked on. Jeff mentioned mod potential for them as well is coming.

I would definitely be in favor of this myself, either as an option or, if one had to be chosen, a stationary rink. I watched the video and while I want the 2D game screen (it was what swung the deal for me), I can already tell that I am not going to like the rink itself moving up, down, and sideways.

I agree, I've bought two previous versions of FHM but found that without a 2D screen I really couldn't get immersed in the game play. A stationary rink with players names rather than numbers would be great as far as I'm concerned.

Right now the rink view will stay in a broadcast-like setting. Could that change in the future? Possibly.

Also to note: Jeff's doing an AMA tomorrow on Reddit (r/Hockey) at 1pm Eastern. Tune in to ask questions and if you want a chance to win a copy of FHM7!

Thanks for the response. Best of all worlds: Make it an option for stationary or broadcast view.
