trying to activate old version

I'm trying to activate OOTP 19 on a laptop I got from a friend, and there is a failed network request message after I put in my license key. Help?

It's possible that there's something like a VPN or anti-virus blocking the activation. If you turn anything like that off and try again, does anything change?

If not, the other possibility is that the key may need to be reset. So in that case, send a message to support@ootpdevelopments.com with the key included in the message and we can submit that to be reset.

This is the exact error and version of OOTP I am using. Did your issue get resolved?

Even if the specific suggestions I'd made don't work, ff you send a message to support like I'd suggested for the above poster they can do some troubleshooting with you to get things sorted out.
