Running OOTP 21 in Windows 10 S Mode
Hey guys,
Been playing this game for years and recently had to purchase a new laptop as my other one has crashed. I have just purchased the laptop from the link: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Gateway-1...c-c6d70a4742cc It will not allow me to run it in S Mode. Does that mean I should run it without it? Once I choose to get rid of S Mode I can’t get it back. Any help would be much appreciated from those experienced in laptops and requirements. Thank you! |

Wow, that laptop is basically a glorified chromebook. The reason it's in S Mode is to limit downloads and running applications that will drastically slow down the computer. The small SSD will be great in running a reduced version of Windows and only a few Microsoft apps. I have both an 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD on my laptop and I've moved OOTP to the HDD as my current save is already over 5GB and growing.
Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

From a practical perspective, the only thing that S Mode does is limit you to installing things from the Microsoft Store. I'd get rid of it just on principle.
