Can't Get Custom Jerseys and Helmets Loaded

Sorry for the basic question but I just picked up FHM6.

I created a fictional league and under my saved game/league/graphics folder, have added custom jerseys, helmets, and logos.

The logos are picked up properly but not the jerseys and helmets. Even if I change the colors under Team/Edit to something ridiculous, it's using colors from somewhere else, like a default file. For instance, I tried setting all the colors to ridiculous colors and regenerating the picture and those colors are not used either.

I've also deleted all players and restarted the game with no luck. I'm clearly missing a step.

Things finally are working. I had the helmets incorrectly named with the "g" in the name. That was the only thing I could see that was wrong. I then deleted all the jerseys and helmets in my saved games folders and copied all the original jerseys and folders from the "Opening Day" quickstart graphics. I then copied my custom jerseys and helmets into my saved game folders and deleted all player pics.
