Individual Pitch Rating
So I know that in order for a starter to be good, he has to have 3+ pitches that are at least 5's. Not a perfect algo, but a start. What I am wondering is that if I target guys with specific pitch arsenals, will that work. For instance, we have seen a lot of these high spin FB/CB pitchers be elite recently. Does that should up in individual pitch ratings, or am I better off just looking at the stuff and control ratings. Looking to find an edge in expansion. Thank you.

Lots of cool stuff (accidental pun) in there Like change ups vs cutters. A change up is much more of a swing and miss pitch, so it makes sense that it would increase stuff. |
