Some prospective items for the St. Louis Sentinels
Here are some things I just came up with for a potential baseball team called the St. Louis Sentinels. I don't have any caps or logos made yet for them, but perhaps these might prove useful to any of you folks who may be looking for a possible team in the St. Louis area of Missouri. Colors chosen based on the MLB Cardinals, NFL Cardinals, the ABA Spirits of St. Louis, and the NHL St. Louis Blues. I wanted to mashup a few things, even if it was only team colors, for this team. I'll do the caps later, as I can and all, I'm sure, Lord willing. But logos will likely have to be done by someone else, of course. That is all. CD out.

Which potential name for a possible team in Chicago sounds best to you all from the following, folks? Please advise, and comment, as you like and can:
Chicago Gangsters Chicago Goons Chicago Mobsters Chicago Rogues Chicago Strongmen Chicago Toughs Chicago Thugs Of course, if you have any better suggestions, please feel free to suggest them as you like and can, within reason. Thank you. CD out.

I'm leaning towards Rogues, personally, myself. I was thinking of perhaps saving the Gangsters name for a potential team in a New York-based league I might call the Empire State Baseball Consortium or something similar, and specifically for a potential team possibly called the Gotham City Gangsters. But I suppose Rogues might work for a team from there as well, come to think of it.
I think once my work on the Arizona-based league is done, I'll tackle a New York-based league of some sort. As for this idea for another league I've not yet decided the name for, which will likely include the St. Louis-based team above, I'm thinking of placing eight to twelve teams in two subleagues, with the same number of teams being assigned to them based on whether or not their home locations are east or west of the Mississippi River's run. I'll probably put teams in six to eight different states to start, including Missouri and Illinois. Wisconsin is a strong possibility, as are Michigan and Indiana, depending on whether or not I have a team in Minnesota that's based in the eastern half of the league's potential territory, in relation to the Mississippi River's run. If it's in the western half, then Indiana will likely have a team. If in the eastern half, then we'll likely see Iowa, Kansas and/or Nebraska, along with South Dakota, at least, represented for the league's western half. At least at first, anyway. folks. Just a few things I'm considering here as possible later project concepts, just so you know, in case you might want new teams to perhaps use in your games and all, for sure.. Will keep you all posted as I can and all, if possible, Lord willing. That's all for this post, then, I think. CD out.

Some potential ideas for a Chicago-based fictional team
Two possibilities for Chicago at present, at least for possible home uniforms. One for a team called the Rogues, and another called the Mobsters. Will probably need to work on either possibility more later, of course, but for now, at least, here's what I currently have made for a potential team in Chicago. Colors chosen are from colors related to the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, and the Chicago Blackhawks, at least, in some sort of mashup at least using one or more colors from each team listed above, if not other teams as well from the Chicago area. That is all. CD out.

EC, post 7565 in your IPA thread has black text with red bordering it on red. I suggest putting a non-red color between the black text and red background. Maybe you should change that text to Red Bluff and use the gray uniform as the home, but with Red Sox in place of Red Bluff, or change the gray to white. Also, you might want to consider changing the button and/or collar color on the red uniform, come to think of it, perhaps.
Remember how the Boston Red Sox do things with their red alternate uniforms, for what I may be trying to remind you of here, please, if you can. Perhaps the undershirt could be white or gray when the red uniform is used by Red Bluff's Red Sox. Also, you may want to change the shoulder striping on both the home and away uniform sleeves. At least on the current gray, the reds almost look like they are the same shade or seem to look like they're blending together, at least to my own eyes. As for the H-cats, they look okay, with how you did them, but maybe the other recent updates might still look better, I think. However, seeing as it's your league, you can have your teams look any way that you like and can, of course. Just a few of my thoughts/observations/whatever here, which you can take or not take as you like and can, you know. Thank you for your time and attention here and all, for sure, in any case, EC. CD out.

Some new items for the Des Moines Dragons
Some items for a prospective Des Moines Dragons team. May need to do more work with them later, of course, but at least this is what I have made for them, in terms of uniforms. I've not yet made any caps for this prospective team, though. And the possibly generic logo is currently present there on the alternate uniform as a temporary placeholder, until I can find a better one, or have a real-world logo for a basketball team baseballized, in truth. Just so you all know this here well enough, folks. That is all. CD out.

Some new items for the Madison Jays
I know someone else did a Madison Jays set for one project or another, most likely TrapperJohn, based on one of low's team sets to at least some degree, if not totally. But here's still my take on related things, using certain colors from teams or schools based in and around the Madison area of Wisconsin, in a mashup-type concept of some sort, as best as I can here and all. While I don't yet have any caps made for them, in truth, here's what I currently have for them so far, and I'll probably use premade logos for this team here, when they get added to a prospective league at some point.
Not sure what their parent team might be in an appropriate league based in the Upper Midwestern United States, just yet, of certain teams I have in mind for that parent league, for sure. But here's what I have for them so far, in any case, folks. Hope you like them, of course, but please do feel free to comment and all as you like and can, within reason and all. That is all. CD out.

My interpretation of the Tulsa team's looks in AMIHS
These were just posted in my A Mile in His Shoes movie-related thread. While I haven't yet made a team set, at least in terms of caps and uniforms, if not also a logo or logos, for the other team that opposes the Clayton River Rats in the movie, the Fargo Bullets, I may still try to do so at some point, when it comes to cap(s) and uniforms, at least. As for this team's logo or logos, I'll probably go generic at the present time for them, I think. Here's what I have for a prospective team from Tulsa called the Twisters. There's more information in my other related thread, if you're interested in checking it out at some point later on, folks.
Thank you for your time, and I hope these items prove at least somewhat useful to you in the future, for potential teams in your own saved games/leagues. That is all. CD out.

My interpretation of the Fargo team's looks in AMIHS
My attempt at the Fargo Bullets look from the movie A Mile in His Shoes. It may not be totally accurate, to what they wore, at least as an away team in the movie, mind you, folks. But this is still my best possible interpretation of them at this point, I think. That's given what skills and all I may currently possess in my life, in terms of graphics-making ability and/or usable programs, and observational skills, at least. They didn't show a home team set for the Bullets, or more than one cap for them, so I tried to do a home uniform and cap for them based on their viewable away uniform and cap. The colors may not match exactly, or the font, between my interpretation or the look of them in the movie, of course. But if not, then so be it, of course.
Thank you all for your time and attention here and all. Hope many of you can find at least some use for these items. As for logo(s), I'll probably have to go generic for the Fargo Bullets, at least for the time being, if not permanently, I think. That is all. CD out.

Maybe not the best, but they do look good, I think, just the same. I'll probably use them in a league with the River Rats and the Twisters, along with certain other teams.
The Sentinels above will likely be in a league setup called the Core States Baseball Association or something similar, but I haven't been able to find any logos made for such a league yet. I'm also not sure what I should call the Chicago team in said league setup yet, of the options I listed. I'm leaning towards calling them the Rogues, but Mobsters might work too for them. I'm thinking Gangsters would perhaps be better for a team in Gotham, especially if The Game ever wants to change their team name accordingly in the applicable dynasty. Or Rogues could work there as well. Haven't decided yet what to call two potential minor leagues under the Core States framework yet, but most of the teams in question will likely have sets already made for them that might look suitable enough for use in them. The Madison Jays already have a set made for them, but seeing as certain colors might be at least a little common in their likely destination league, I decided to change some colors for them in places, for variety's sake. Many of the teams may have somewhat generic logos, at least at first, though. But as long as they look good with the relevant teams' sets to a sufficient enough degree, I think I can live with them for a while, especially if I'm able to progress on at least one of my stories a good deal in the near future, especially my main story Lighting Up the Darkness, in truth. Lord willing, of course, Eugene. Thank you for your kind comments and all. Now I suppose I'd best get back to my work soon, as best and as soon as I can here, whatever it may be. CD out.

I used Shading 1 for the uniforms, and based the percentages of light and dark at least somewhat on certain dates/years, I believe, where appropriate. I realize they may not perfectly match the uniforms and/or caps seen on screen, but I still think they turned out well. They aren't my favorites of all the ones done by me so far, but they are still of at least decent to good quality, in my view.
If they look splendid, it's not necessarily from my own doing of them, it's because of God's leading and all, I believe. I'm just His instrument, to use as He wills, when He wills and all, and His humble servant, as far as I can tell and as far as I'm concerned here. Thank you again for your kind comment, Eugene. But all real thanks and praise and all for the work seen above should go solely to the One who made us all, not to me, in truth, as I'm sure we should all hopefully know quite well by now. At least that's what I strongly believe here, anyway, you know. CD out.

Working on a set for the main team in Milltown Pride. They may not match what was worn in the movie, but I'm trying to make up a set that might work for them, nevertheless. There will probably be three uniforms and two caps, at least, but we'll have to see. Please stay tuned. Thank you. CD out.

Some new items for the Newton Millers
Have made six uniforms and six caps for the main team in the movie just mentioned. They may not match what they wore in the actual movie, but I did try to do the best job I could on them, nevertheless. There wasn't evidently a team logo visible in the movie, nor a company logo, I believe, so I'll probably have to go with at least one or two generic logos for them, at least for the time being, if not permanently.
Evidently, there's not a real place in South Carolina called Newton, like in the movie, at least, but the movie was produced by people at Bob Jones University in South Carolina. It is a good movie, although not totally realistic and accurate when it comes to the baseball game playing, it seems, if memory serves me correctly. I don't think I'll be able to get sets made for their likely opponents in the movie, at least as of yet, but let's see what time allows and all, in the future, if at all possible, folks. In any case, though, I'll post two uniforms and two caps per post in this post and the two posts after this one, so you can see all of the work I did for them. The team in question is a company team, just so you know, with all that entails, of course. They didn't seem to have an official team nickname, either, so I gave them the nickname of Millers for my purposes here. With no further ado, then, here are the first two uniforms and first two caps for this team, folks. That is all. CD out.

I'd perhaps like to do a set for at least the main team in the movie Long Gone, if I can, but first I have to be able to see the movie, or at least stills showing scenes from the movie where the uniforms are visible enough, it seems. As for other teams in various baseball movies, I'll have to likely be able to watch them as well, of course, or at least see pictures related to them. I am getting better at this sort of thing, but I still have a long way to go to even get halfway decent on average, I'm sure, compared to many other people here. I'll never likely be as artistically adept visually as people like Golem64 and rocknfire7, at least, and definitely nowhere near txranger and knuckler-level skills, unless God chooses to make it possible for me to reach that level. But that's fine with me, as long as I do whatever He gives me to do as best as I can in this life, no matter what it is, for sure.
Thank you all for your time and attention and all here, in any case, folks. That's all for now, at least, I think. CD out.

Hey, CD. Do you think you can make a San Diego Giants set reminiscent of the 1990's Padres? A font close to the old one is Clearface, if you can use that, please?

I don't know, but I suppose I could try, at least, TLTF. I don't know if I can find the Clearface font, for example, but if I can't, I'll see what I can find and use. Logo(s) will likely have to be done by someone else, though, of course. CD out.
