Is it possible to have playoffs with one subleague

Hi all. It’s been a number of years since I’ve fired up the game, and I can’t actually remember which version I have installed on my old PC. But I’ve been thinking of getting back into it lately. Just wondering, has the game ever solved the issue of being able to have playoffs with only one subleague? I remember years ago it wasn’t possible. As an example, say I create a league with just one subleague with three or four divisions and playoffs, is that possible? I’ve always liked the idea of ANY TWO teams being able to contest the World Series, even if from the same division. Thanks.

Yes, you can now (at least in OOTP21, I came back to the game this year as well).

Been possible for a long time.

I had a 6 team Indy league I ran for about 30 seasons, had playoffs every year. Just don't like the way it displays in League History as you see only the Winning Team, not who they beat.

To elaborate. You want to choose "Use Custom Playoffs" under League Settings --> Options. You will then be able to choose the specific places within your Sub-League that make the playoffs.

In single subleagues I just create an Excel file where I can keep track of who the winner and loser is each year in the championship. This is how my National Hockey League of Baseball is set up. I have a formula saved that I can just plug in so that it counts each team's championships, finals appearances and final four appearances for me as well.

It still shows in the league history, just not on main history page. You can drill down and find it quickly.
