Making the Closer Only a Closer

I'm having trouble when not managing manually of keeping my closer out of non-save situations. For example, if he blows a save in the ninth, I don't want to bring him out for the tenth. I've tried batter limits and pitch counts, and it doesn't matter; if there's anything left in him, the AI manager trots him out. Other ideas? Maybe set the hook for him to as fast as possible?

If you set the hook for as quick as possible I'd be afraid that they'd get pulled from the save if they let a couple batters reach

You can give it a try though

Surely there is are options you can use in the player’s game strategy settings.
