Finally making playoffs

I'm still playing OOTP20 but just came on here to say that there is no better feeling than struggling with a team for a few years and then FINALLY breaking through and making the playoffs.

I'm in 2023 and was feeling some pressure from ownership to make the playoffs and my Mariners came through! Just finished up a 96-66 season and heading into the wildcard game vs. the rival Astros!

The AL West has been dominated by the Angels and Astros since I started with the Mariners. Using a 6-man rotation through the regular season and fielding a strong defensive and contact hitting lineup has proven to be successful.

Moments like these make all the last 3 years of struggles worth it.....

You're damn right! I can still remember my first time reaching the Playoffs. I was on top of the world.

Just wait until you win your first World Series.

Never forget this feeling, your first one, (kinda like when you and Betty Sue were in the back seat.... ) there will be others but this one is special. Just know though that the playoffs are a crapshoot and anything can happen. I wish you luck!
