MLB Amateur Draft

The average age of the draft pool seems way too high. Sometimes there are 26 year olds in the draft. On average there are about 75 25 year olds and 110+ 24 year olds in the draft.

This does not happen in MLB.

Teach me how to fix it. I'm tired of seeing 25 & 26 year old college players get drafted in the first round.

when the draft pool is released, you can edit it. it's a LOT of work, but doable. main thing is - if you edit a player with a historical history, it will revert back to "real" numbers the next season. so you'd need to edit a player, clone him, then delete the real player ..... as i said, LOTS of work and the more you edit beyond age, the more work it becomes. But it is doable. i've done the last two seasons of my game - it's taken me an average of 6-8 days (4 -5 hours a day) to get thru everyone.

Which patch are you on or were you on when the draft pool started to be created. This was a known issue that was resolved in an early patch.

If you want you should be able to delete your draft pool prior to the announcement and it should repopulate the draft.

The game is totally up to date.

There aren't any 25/26 year old NCAA players so why the heck is my draft full of them?

Seems like an easy fix. Just give us a setting to set an age min & max for the amateur draft just like the international players settings.

UPDATE

My current amature draft has 20 26 year old players and 32 25 year old players.

Every HS player is over 21.

Can we fix this guys?

This isn't happening is standard leagues, so there's likely something with your specific setup causing this. Can you upload the save files for the league so we can check it out? Thanks!
