effect of "base potential ratings" in historical league
So, if a historical league has the following settings...
1. Player Development Disabled 2. Recalc = on 3. Recalc base = 1 year 4. Base ratings on real stats 5. Historical transactions = on ... does it matter at all what potential ratings are based upon? I'm thinking that this will affect the number of stars a player gets for his potential rating, but that will only be informational; it won't really affect anything since 1-yr recalc determines the ratings each year. Am I correct or am I missing something? (The only thing I can think of is that it might affect certain AI roster decisions that are not encompassed by historical transactions being on... But I'm not sure.) |
