Changing saved game location

I bought OOTP for the first time on Steam recently. I have always boufhr from the main Company website previously.

I have a small OS only SSD drive as my C drive. I installed the game to my D: drive using the steam installer but unfortunately the saved game file is still saving to the C: documents folder. Is there any way to change that folder? I’d much rather have the saved games on my D: drive.

I didn’t have this problem when I bought it direct.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is your steam folder in your C or D drive?

D: folder.

Everything installed correctly to D folder except for the saved games which insists on being in the C: one drive documents folder.

Try this. From the main screen, click settings. Go to the Expert tab. Click Select on the Custom Data Path. Choose your folder in your D drive. You may have to move your current folder from your C drive first.

Just to clarify, Move the saved game folder first from the c: drive I assume?

All of the game field with the exception of the saved games are where they should be on D:

Unfortunately this didn’t work. It created a new saved game folder where I wanted but still saved the same to the documents folder.
