Help starting a league in 1871
Sorry if this is answered somewhere but I couldn't find it. Is there a way to start a league in 1871 and advance where the schedules, all-star games (lack of), and teams folding and expanding are all accurate?
I know this is all expertly executed from 1901 on, and I am comfortable (enough) with the development settings and all that, but I would love to have teams, schedules, rules (where possible) accurate starting in 1871. |

It cannot be done accurately in historical mode. I’m doing it for myself in a fictional set up. Using real teams and fake players. It’s very time consuming and slow going. None of which I mind because I’m a world builder, but to answer your question, it is currently not possible with historic players in that mode.
Actually, before I hit submit I guess you could create an accurate world if you started it as a fictional league and then import the players manually and try it like that. However, that seems like a lot of heavy lifting. |

Thanks. I remember a long time ago, there use to be some mods that helped with schedules and I had hoped in the last 5 or 6 years maybe this had become a little more user friendly for those of us who aren't good at modding. Oh well, maybe I'll just start in 1901.
