time to run sims based on settings

Is there a sticky (or manual) that discusses the all the setup options and how they effect the time to run a season sim?

Benchmarked to common computer setups?
Also discussing the disk space

I did what i think are all the most detailed options with SSD, 64 MB ram, i7 and each day took couple minutes

I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. I'm actually still running the game on my old Win 7 machine because I wouldn't have had space on my SSD to install it (after a bad experience with installing to a second drive years ago).

Finaly deleted OOTP20 and think it was around 55 Gig.

Haven't seen something like this either and imagine it would have to be a player driven endeavor.

I presume you ment 64 GB of RAM ( or we could call you Mr. Commodore)

OOTP is 32 bit application so throw RAM out the door... it will use between 4 an 6.5 GB on average.. it will use multi core processing... I have never seen it go above 24% on my machine ( i5 4 core overclocked 3.7... 32 GB of RAM SSD dedicated system.. SSD storage..SATA3)

The SATA3 is my bottleneck... but i can still run a season in about 5 to 8 minutes

Sounds like you have broadcast active thats a killer.. also highlights, game logs, charts, and 3D data captured setting could be slowing you down... check those out

I always like reading your posts... to bad all that reseach and testing probably took 100 times longer than needed based upon this thread

Keep up the great work... hope the above helps...

If I understand your question correctly.
Turn off annual predictions. Make automatic saves once a year. And a big time consumer is your league size. If you are just swimming once a day then make your automatic saves once a week.
With just a historical 16 team major league setup and no minor leagues I can fast SIM 10 years in about 13 minutes.
