Duplicate Cards

Hi everyone,

It may be a stupid question but is there any point to keeping duplicate cards? As I understand it, one card can be used across multiple collection missions so there is no need to keep a duplicate card for different missions? Is my understand correct? From a missions standpoint, you only need one version of each card even for multiple missions?

You are correct on all fronts. You can sell them Bubba Starlings without any fear of regretting it later.

There used to be a good reason to keep duplicates as their price would spike as soon as they were included in a mission. This is a little more redundant now though now that prices are inflated from the FoTF collecitons.

Live duplicates may be worth holding onto given that their ratings change every 2 weeks on a Monday, and that the quicksell value increases every 10. I usually hold onto Live duplicates when those players are playing well, and sell the ones that aren't.

Looking back, I wish I had held onto all those Cole Tucker cards I got. I'd be the biggest whale in the pool after QSing them when they turned Bronze.

There's a reason I'm holding 40 Realmutos, that's all I'm saying

In PT20, Mitch Garver made the trip from Bronze to Perfect.

Yeah, I definitely don't think there will be enough time for a player to make that kind of ascension this year with the shortened season. I'm not sure we will even see a Gold card make it. Only have at most 3 (counting tomorrow) Live Card ratings adjustments left before the regular season wraps up. I'm guessing the developers will probably keep to that two week schedule of updates even though the last game of the season takes place on Sunday September 27th, which would be only a week after the previous bi-weekly update.
